While your device is locked, you can still access apps on the lock screen, make phone calls and call emergency numbers (911 etc.) and emergency contacts (see below). If you unlock it during a lock period, it will be immediately locked again.

The three main features are:
- Repeated Lock Periods, for example, lock your phone every evening after 10pm
- Single Lock Periods when you want to focus for 45 minutes while studying.
- GeoCheck-feature: Lock the device only if you are in a specific area. The phone doesn't lock when you're out with friends because it's helpful.

In the free version you only have one total lock period, so you can have 1 single lock lock or 1 repetitive lock period. You can have unlimited lock periods (for each type) in the premium version.
