Public Works Department (PWD) is the prominent statutory authority responsible for managing and maintaining major road network, bridges, culverts, public buildings and other road transport infrastructure assets owned by the Government of Kerala.
PWD 4U is part of the digital initiative by the Government of Kerala to enable citizens to notify the authorities of any defects or problems in the road assets managed by Kerala PWD. The purpose of the PWD 4U is to improve the response time of PWD to road maintenance issues and provide the citizens with a road network that has good riding quality and is free of defects.
The user can send locations and photos of the road defects to the concerned authority with a single tap on your device using the PWD 4U. All complaints will be geotagged and automatically sent to the PWD for redressal, and the status updates until complaint resolution can be tracked.
So nice this application in the first time there are many bugs in this application and currently they are trying to solve the all the issues also the PWD department they are trying very fast to resolve the issues and very friendly talk and discussion about the path holes or crack water issues anyways such a good program should continue and keep going.
A much-needed app .. I noticed a few reviews that the app isn't working .. that happens if your internet is slow as the app requires high-speed data to load maps... if that happens, try running a vpn while using the app .. this fixes the issue .. same solution for those that seem to have the track progress page shown as blank.
App when it was launched, I was happy as there r many roads with potholes in my area. I listed one complaint in a hope to get any response or any progress, but nothing happened.The issue was removed and my profile details were gone. It now says to update the app, but when I go to play store to do it, there's no option.
I don't understand what was vision behind this but it's not working. Govt know that people will repond if there's a medium, but this app is not making any sense.
