"Now you can update your Passport number in your vaccination certificate," the official handle of the Aarogya Setu app tweeted. It is also suggested that the passport number be recorded in the vaccination certificate to ensure the authenticity of the document.




To facilitate this, a special system has been set up in the Cowin portal, which is used nationwide for vaccine registration. The facility of attaching the vaccination certificate with the passport has been provided. The government has advised those going abroad for education, employment and participation in the Tokyo Olympics. To facilitate this, Covin has set up a facility on the portal.

  1. Visit the official portal of Cowin Portal CLICK HERE
  2. Sign in using your registered mobile number.
  3. Now, tap on the 'Raise an issue' option at the top and select the member’s name.
  4. Tap on the 'Correction in certificate' option.
  5. Select the options you need to make corrections into.
  6. Now enter the correct details and click on continue to submit the details.
