Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence under the Department of Labour and Skills, Government of Kerala has launched a unique mobile application to help customers to hire certified and skilled resources at an affordable cost for all their service needs, right where they are or where they want. Department is leveraging the power of information technology to bring service providers and customers on a common platform through Skill Registry.
Now service providers from various sectors across Kerala can get easy access to Skill Registry using a simple and single step registration. Skill Registry provides you with an end-to-end solution for all the service needs.
Skill Registry is a mobile application developed to avail the services of skilled workforce for the daily household and commercial needs directly to the public. Skilled laborers can register as Service Providers and those who require their services can register as Customers at www.keralaskillregistry.com. The app has been developed by KASE (Kerala Academy for Skills Excellance) in cooperation with Industrial training department, Kudumbashree, Panchayat department and Employment Department.
The application provides an opportunity for skilled workers to find day to day jobs and making them capable to find their daily work by themselves. Skilled workers who are not certified or professionally trained will also be considered on producing a declaration certified by the Panchayat. This also acts as a platform for the customers to find their daily job requirements without any intermediaries. Major Services in 42 service sectors namely AC, Washing Machine, Refrigerator, Oven, Fan/Iron Box, Computer, Mixer &Grinder Service And Repair, Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Painter, Coconut Climber, Day Care-Child Care In Home, Driver with vehicle, Driver without vehicle, 2/3/4 wheeler repair, Agricultural Work , Catering , Civil Draughtsman , Cooking , Gas Stove Repair , Interior Designing , wood cutter , Welder , Truss Work , Tailor , Gardening and Landscaping, Geriatric Care-In Home/Hospitals, Physiotherapist, Gym Trainers, Sports equipment care taker Grass Cutting, Home Cleaning, House Keeping, House Maid, Laundry & Ironing, Masonry-Small Construction Work, Renovation/Compost Pit/Ring Work, Mobile Beauty Parlor-Services @ Home, Santhwanam-Health Check Up @ Home (Sugar, Cholesterol, BP) Television Repair and Installation has been included in the mobile application.
In the Primary stage the databank of skilled workforce provided by Kudumbashree and Industrial Training Department shall be adopted to execute the application. The application was primarily launched in Thiruvananthapuram district and has started its operations in other districts of Kerala.
Skill Registry works with network data and it also uses the mobile network for calling service providers directly from the app, if in case you want to do that. Our services are location-based, so switching on your location and searching skills on location makes it easier. Currently, our service is available all over Kerala.
