Proximity sensor
The proximity service uses your device's proximity sensor to control the on / off state of the screen. Hiding the sensor will turn off the screen when the device is awake - perfect for games that need to work on the front but don't require your constant attention. Flip your phone on a desk, put it in your pocket, or use any other means to cover the proximity sensor. As soon as the sensor is unveiled, the screen will return.
